Hi, I’m Jose Mortellaro.
I help companies transform WordPress from a simple website into a reliable, scalable platform that supports real business processes.
With over a decade of experience in WordPress, I design, integrate, and implement complex systems, including high-performance websites, advanced workflows, and AI-powered functionalities.
While I started as a plugin developer with thousands of sites worldwide using my tools, today I focus on architecture, integrations, and strategic solutions that solve real business problems, from ERP connections to AI-based automation and custom workflows.
I began my career as a mechanical engineer, working on engine systems for vehicles and machinery in cities like Turin, St. Gallen, and Fribourg. This experience taught me precision, problem-solving, and performance optimization — skills I now apply to websites and complex WordPress systems.
In 2016, my wife and I left Switzerland for Ibiza, Spain, ready to start a new chapter. After preparing for a year, we packed our essentials, brought our two daughters and three dogs, and dove into web development and WordPress.
Together, we co-founded several projects, including the Freesoul WordPress theme and builder, and later developed plugins now used worldwide. Those experiences laid the foundation for my current focus: business-critical WordPress systems.
